As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, document observations, and communicate clearly with onsite teams and visitors while delivering standout customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor inbound and outbound traffic at entrances, gates, and dock areas, including verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and directing deliveries per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations, notifying site contacts and/or public responders as directed, and assisting with scene control.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident reports with accurate details, and communicate timely information to supervisors and site personnel regarding security-related concerns and/or maintenance issues observed during rounds.
