Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A valid security guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter of the automotive location to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activities or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and/or emergency responders as required.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits at the location.
• Document daily activities and security-related incidents according to Allied Universal policies.
