As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage production location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for staff and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a food and beverage production environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and helping to maintain authorized access to designated areas.
• Support the enforcement of site-specific policies and procedures to help to deter disruptions and maintain order within the location.
