Requirements

• Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the location by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential problems.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying credentials as needed.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and suspicious activities according to established protocols.
• Support emergency response activities as appropriate to the situation and location.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while representing Allied Universal.
• Follow all company and client policies regarding confidentiality, conduct, and appearance.
