About The Position
As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Monitor in Bridgeport, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a busy logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access issues, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
- Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and delivery drivers, verify credentials and/or documentation as required by site policies, and document security-related incidents and daily activity.
- Support loss prevention and operational continuity efforts by observing trailer yards, docks, packages, and high-traffic areas for policy violations, hazards, and/or suspicious activity, and communicate concerns promptly.
