As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas at a leading technology location, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to potential concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, where you will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and integrity, all while putting people first in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances within the tech and media environment.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or hazards according to site protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment.
  • Assist visitors, employees, and contractors by providing directions and responding to general inquiries while upholding site-specific access control procedures.
