Requirements

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the tech and media environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible security-related presence.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards found during patrols to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.
Assist in controlling access to restricted areas and verify credentials as required by location protocols.
Support emergency response activities, including guiding occupants and coordinating with emergency services if needed.
Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with employees, visitors, and contractors at the location.
