You will remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations as they arise, and deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the tech and media environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible security-related presence.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards found during patrols to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.
  • Assist in controlling access to restricted areas and verify credentials as required by location protocols.
  • Support emergency response activities, including guiding occupants and coordinating with emergency services if needed.
  • Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with employees, visitors, and contractors at the location.
