As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct regular patrols and help to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible throughout the premises. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as you monitor the assigned area. You will also provide outstanding customer service, uphold our values of teamwork and integrity, and contribute to a welcoming environment for all.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or the public as required.
• Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
