As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will complete high-visibility vehicle patrols across a residential location, helping to spot and report security-related concerns, respond to alarms and calls for service, and support residents and staff with professional communication. You will document activities, follow site procedures, and work as part of a reliable team that acts with integrity. This post requires a valid driver’s license.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Guard Card/License - preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and staff while carrying out site-specific procedures, community rules, and security-related responsibilities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and observe for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or hazards; help to deter unwanted behavior through visible presence and professional communication.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and/or notifying site management as required.
• Document patrols, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns with clear written reports and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
