Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Santa Fe Springs, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible throughout the property. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. You will provide outstanding customer service and communication while supporting a secure environment, all while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
- Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site management.
- Collaborate with property management and/or law enforcement as directed, to support a secure environment.
