About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Twin Falls, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. You will remain highly visible throughout your shift, assisting guests and staff and supporting a welcoming atmosphere. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols within the retail environment.
Work collaboratively with retail staff and members of the public to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
Document incidents and daily activities accurately and thoroughly in accordance with company and site requirements.
Remain visible and approachable to help to deter unwanted behavior and support a welcoming environment for customers and employees.
