As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Byram, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols throughout retail and mall locations. Remaining visible and approachable, you will provide outstanding customer service while monitoring the premises. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
- Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards within the location.
- Assist visitors, customers, and employees with inquiries and directions as needed.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary.
- Complete required reports and documentation related to daily activities and incidents.
- Follow instructions from Allied Universal management and adhere to all company and client policies.
