About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Logan, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic chemical or petrochemical location, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling assigned areas by vehicle and/or foot, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting a secure environment through teamwork, communication, and integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience providing customer service is preferred.
  • Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A valid guard card or security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a chemical or petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with any emergencies that may arise in the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards encountered during patrols in the chemical or petrochemical location to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
  • Follow all post orders and instructions specific to the location, adapting to the unique requirements of a chemical or petrochemical environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and/or client staff to address security-related concerns or incidents as needed.
