As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Benton Harbor, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your visible presence and routine patrols contribute to a secure environment while delivering outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including both the business interior and perimeter areas.
Observe and report any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
Follow company protocols and instructions provided by Allied Universal leadership and site management.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access within the property.
Document all incidents, observations, and interactions as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
