About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Princeville, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal at a resort and hotel location as an unarmed Patrol Officer, where you will complete routine foot and vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support guests and staff with courteous service. You will document observations, communicate clearly with your team, and respond to concerns with integrity and teamwork. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license per AU Driver Policy Requirements.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and resort staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including guest concerns, disturbances, and access control issues.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of hotel and resort areas such as lobbies, hallways, parking areas, amenities, and the perimeter, observing and reporting unusual activity.
  • Monitor entry points, verify credentials when required, and help to control access for guests, vendors, deliveries, and/or events in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written reports and logs, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
