Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Jacksonville, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will actively monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing excellent customer service and communication. This role involves routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
Proof of high school diploma or General Educational Development is required by the client.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the location's needs.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious activities or hazards encountered during patrols.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs and/or reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management.
Comply with all company policies and procedures, as well as those specific to the government location.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or directing visitors as needed.
Remain alert and attentive throughout the shift to promptly address any security-related issues that may arise.
