About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Danville, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, manage access control, and deliver outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

Three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any irregularities or suspicious activities encountered during patrols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel and visitors, providing assistance when appropriate.
Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to help to deter potential issues and maintain a secure environment.
