As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal in a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with customers and staff, providing outstanding customer service while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately during emergencies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related concerns in and around the retail premises.
Assist visitors and staff with directions and general information as needed while maintaining a visible presence.
Collaborate with Allied Universal management and client representatives to address security-related needs at the location.
