As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access points and badge activity as needed. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will represent Allied Universal with clear communication, customer-focused service, and a people-first mindset built on teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and post orders at a commercial property location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate parties and/or emergency services when needed.
• Monitor access points and observe for suspicious or unusual activity, documenting observations and communicating security-related information to property management and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Complete daily activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and participate in shift briefings and/or handoffs to support continuity of site operations.
