As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide a visible presence. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, supporting tenants and visitors with exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with your team. Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity, maintenance issues, or security-related hazards encountered during patrols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters at the location.
