About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Banking Facility in Normandy, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution location, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will conduct routine patrols and provide exceptional customer service and communication to all visitors and staff. Requirements

Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report unusual situations.
Document observations and incidents as required by site policies and Allied Universal procedures.
Assist visitors and employees with directions and information as needed, maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary, following established protocols.
