Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with an agile, reliable, and innovative approach, working as part of a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or local authorities as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, terminals, parking areas, administrative spaces, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, public areas, and restricted locations for unusual activity, assist with directing foot traffic, and support orderly operations during routine and high-traffic periods.
  • Complete required reports on incidents, maintenance concerns, and policy-related violations, and provide clear updates to site leadership and/or designated contacts.
