About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Agent in Concordia, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises, including both interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
• Document and report incidents, observations, and any unusual occurrences according to company and site guidelines.
• Communicate and collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and maintain a secure environment.
• Remain alert to potential hazards within the food and beverage environment and notify the appropriate personnel as needed.
