About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Agent in Council Bluffs, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout production areas, loading zones, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify potential issues or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, equipment areas, and material storage locations.
• Support daily operations by observing site conditions, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and communicating with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related events.
