About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Agent in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a highly visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control as needed. You will complete routine rounds, document observations, and communicate clearly with tenants, visitors, and site contacts. Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting property management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout commercial property areas, including lobbies, corridors, parking areas, and the perimeter, noting unusual conditions and reporting hazards.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by checking credentials, observing visitor traffic, and directing individuals according to site procedures.
• Complete detailed reports and logs, including patrol activity, incident documentation, and maintenance concerns, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or on-site contacts.
