You will manage access points, check credentials, issue visitor guidance, and document activity using computer or tablet tools while providing strong customer service and clear communication. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures, security-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control entry and exit points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing access logs, and directing arrivals to the appropriate check-in and/or staging areas.
• Monitor gates, docks, and other controlled areas using security-related equipment and observation, reporting unusual activity to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and escalating concerns according to post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, production-adjacent areas, parking lots, and the perimeter, noting hazards and reporting maintenance or operational concerns through established channels.
