You will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. You will document observations, respond to requests for assistance, and support a professional atmosphere. Bring agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a government location by following site-specific procedures, access requirements, and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points, noting unusual conditions and reporting concerns per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with supervisors and local first responders as directed.
• Monitor assigned areas for policy compliance and potential hazards, assist with directing pedestrian and vehicle traffic when needed, and support orderly operations.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activities, patrol observations, and incident response actions, and communicate updates to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
