As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage production location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access points, respond to reports, and communicate clearly with team members and site contacts while delivering strong customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout production areas, offices, warehouse spaces, parking lots, and perimeter gates to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Control access by verifying identification, issuing visitor badges, managing sign-in and/or sign-out logs, and directing visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers to the appropriate locations.
Monitor cameras, alarms, and other site systems, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy issues through established channels.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions in written reports and activity logs.
Perform routine checks of doors, dock areas, and restricted zones to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or tampering, and escalate concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Provide traffic and parking guidance for employee arrivals, vendor drop-offs, and truck movements as needed, following site procedures and local regulations.
Communicate clearly with site contacts, emergency services, and Allied Universal leadership as needed, using radio and/or phone protocols to relay accurate information.
