As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy transport and logistics location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service calls with clear communication and professionalism. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout warehouse, yard, dock areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and maintain access control by checking identification, logging entries and exits, issuing visitor instructions, and directing delivery drivers to designated areas per site policy.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting on-site personnel and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
Complete detailed reports and logs, including patrol observations, incident documentation, and communication updates to Allied Universal supervision and site management.
