As an Allied Universal Security Officer on an unarmed patrol post at a leading tech and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and deliver customer service that reflects our agile, reliable, and innovative approach. You will support a caring culture through teamwork and integrity on every shift.

Requirements

Have at least 6+ months of security-related experience.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and employees by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response procedures for a tech-focused location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting unusual activity and escalating concerns per site protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, issuing directions, and documenting entries per site requirements.
Complete timely security-related reports and logs, monitor cameras and/or alarms as assigned, and communicate updates with site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
