About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Logistics Patrols in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a busy logistics and distribution environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents and promote a welcoming atmosphere for all individuals onsite. You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe for any unusual or suspicious activity within the logistics and distribution environment.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
Collaborate with site personnel and first responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related risks within the logistics and distribution location.
