Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Logistics Patrols in Etna, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment through regular patrols at a dynamic logistics and distribution location. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any irregularities.
Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or security-related hazards encountered during patrols.
Work closely with site personnel and Allied Universal management to communicate security-related observations and support site operations.
Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly as directed by Allied Universal policies.
