Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Industrial Patrol in Huntley, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide exceptional customer service through clear communication. Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business premises and surrounding perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
Collaborate with site staff and emergency personnel as needed to support security-related operations and emergency response.
Remain alert and attentive while monitoring for potential threats or suspicious activity within the industrial environment.
