About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Highrise Rover in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will greet tenants and visitors, respond to questions and concerns, and document observations with clear communication. Requirements

Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a commercial property by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building common areas, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter; document observations and report conditions that may require attention.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including investigating alarms, suspicious activity, and/or tenant complaints, and escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
Monitor access points and controlled areas during patrol rounds, verify authorization when required, and help to deter unauthorized entry, trespassing, and/or property damage.
Complete routine reports such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity summaries; communicate status updates to Allied Universal supervision and/or property management.
