Requirements

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment, including responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of staff, patients, and visitors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents according to Allied Universal protocols and site-specific guidelines.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas, helping to maintain a secure environment for all occupants.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and local authorities as needed during incidents or emergency response situations.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related concerns encountered during patrols.
