About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Healthcare Patrol Full-Time in Warrenton, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Requirements

• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the healthcare facility in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual occurrences encountered during patrols within the location.
• Assist with access control and visitor management as required, following all site-specific protocols and procedures.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and first responders as needed, providing assistance or information when appropriate.
• Maintain thorough and accurate records of daily activities and incident reports in accordance with Allied Universal policies and site requirements.
