About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Healthcare Patrol Full-Time in Rock Hill, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within the healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as required, including guiding individuals to designated areas and/or providing information to emergency responders.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences.
  • Collaborate with facility staff and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
