As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to Allied Universal management and/or the appropriate authorities.
Follow all site-specific protocols and procedures required for the government location.
Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with directions and information as needed while maintaining security-related protocols.
Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding security-related incidents, observations, and activities during the shift.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and on-site personnel to support a secure environment.
