As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $24.70 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 08:30 AM - 05:00 PM Fri 08:30 AM - 05:00 PM

Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and activities during assigned shifts.
Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and emergency responders as necessary.
Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment in accordance with site policies.
Assist with crowd control and/or visitor management during special events or high-traffic periods at the location.
