Requirements

A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned location, including the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Monitor and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft attempts, or unusual occurrences, according to Allied Universal protocols.
Communicate with site personnel and visitors in a courteous and professional manner, providing assistance as needed.
Document all activities, observations, and incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and client policies.
Remain alert and aware of surroundings to help to deter unwanted or criminal activity within the location.
