As an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, you will drive and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. Your presence and attention to detail support a sense of comfort for all visitors and staff. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
This is primarily a driving post.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help to deter unwanted activity.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns in a timely manner.
Work collaboratively with local authorities and Allied Universal team members as needed during incidents or emergencies.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter disturbances and provide assistance to visitors or employees as needed.
