About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Government Clearance Patrol in MOORESTOWN, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff. Requirements

An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any suspicious behavior or activities within the facility.
Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management, client representatives, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
Maintain awareness of surroundings within the aerospace and defense environment to help to deter potential risks.
Complete required reports and documentation related to patrols, incidents, and daily activities.
