As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech and communications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, support access control, and communicate clearly while delivering a customer-first experience. Requirements

  • Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology campus or office location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Monitor access points and common areas, observe for unusual conditions, and report maintenance hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with crowd management, de-escalation, and/or coordinating with local responders as directed.
  • Complete security-related reports, incident logs, and patrol documentation using required systems and/or forms, and communicate timely updates during shift turnover.
