As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and respond to situations with professionalism and strong customer service. Requirements

• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the automotive facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials and/or visitor authorization in accordance with site procedures; assist with directing traffic flow and visitor routing as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Complete detailed reports and logs, including patrol observations, incident documentation, and notifications, using required systems and/or written formats.
