About The Position
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Foot Patrol in Greensboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements
- Have a minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with hospital staff and public responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor cameras, doors, and other site systems where applicable, and report unusual conditions, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns through established channels.
- Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and/or other documentation, and communicate key information during shift turnover to support continuity of operations.
