About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Foot Patrol in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for assistance, document observations, and communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors while delivering strong customer service. Requirements

• Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access control issues, alarms, and/or requests from site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, patrol activity, and security-related observations using required logs and/or electronic reporting systems.
• Support controlled entry processes by verifying credentials, directing visitors to the proper check-in location, and/or monitoring restricted areas per site procedures.
