As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a fast-paced tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a highly visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to reports, document activity, and deliver standout customer service through clear communication. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the location, including interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor access points and visitor flow by confirming authorization, assisting with badge and/or sign-in processes, and directing visitors, employees, and vendors to appropriate destinations.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate contacts and supporting on-site response as directed.
- Document patrols, incidents, and observations with clear written reports and timely communication to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
