Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy food and beverage production location, where you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms or unusual activity. You will support access control, complete clear reports, and provide customer-focused assistance to employees and visitors. Requirements

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, parking lots, and perimeter gates to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Control access at entrances by checking identification, verifying visitor and delivery authorization, issuing badges when required, and directing traffic to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including observing, documenting, and promptly reporting issues to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Complete routine documentation such as patrol logs, incident reports, and shift activity reports, and communicate key information during shift turnovers.
