About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Financial Institute Patrols in Malvern, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols throughout the location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing an armed presence. Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in law enforcement, military police, or corrections is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Act 235 qualification is required for positions in Pennsylvania.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activities and provide a visible security-related presence.
Monitor access points and verify the identity of individuals entering restricted areas, following site-specific protocols for financial institution environments.
Document and report any unusual observations, incidents, or security-related concerns according to established Allied Universal procedures.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel during incidents as required.
Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate potential security-related risks to the appropriate personnel.
