About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Facility Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related needs as they arise.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual circumstances.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents and provide reassurance to employees and visitors at the financial institution.
Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or hazards encountered during patrols or while on post.
Work closely with Allied Universal management and client representatives to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment at the financial institution.
